On March 22, 2019, Advanced Nuclear Consultants, LLC, a Houston Based Nuclear Gamma Camera Sales and Service Provider since 2004, made history by debuting the industry’s first Android based service application aimed at innovating how ANC services the national nuclear medicine community.
Hundreds came out to attend the 64th Annual Meeting for the Southwestern Chapter of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in Arlington, Texas at the Arlington Convention Center. Members from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and beyond were in attendance which included Nuclear Technicians, Physicians, Scientists, Pharmacists, and our next generation of students in Nuclear Medicine of all varieties.
Over 35 vendors across the Nuclear Medicine Spectrum came out to the show contributing to the event’s epic success! Many companies traveled across the United States to have the opportunity to meet with seasoned medical professionals, technologists who were well known, and up and coming technologists soon to be graduating.
The ANC Team had the great honor of meeting the leadership of the Southwestern Chapter of SNMMI, including various past presidents. However one individual truly surpassed all expectation as he truly went out of his way to ensure our inaugural involvement with the SWC was the best it could be: Mr. Charles Metzger. ANC is greatful to Mr. Metzger for having coordinated such an incredible event as well as for his excellence in professionalism. If you are in Nuclear Medicine, Charles Metzger is a “must” to be connected to.
The 64th Annual Meeting was Advanced Nuclear Consultants’ inaugural engagement with the SNMMI, a global leader in unifying, advancing and optimizing molecular imaging. ANC Founder and President, Richard Armijo, said, “We are honored to join the 15,000+ members worldwide of the SNMMI as we intend to demonstrate our continuing commitment to grow and advance Nuclear Medicine through leadership and innovation.”
Advanced Nuclear Consultants’ upcoming engagement will be the at the Nuclear Medicine Technologists of Houston’s Spring Symposium on April 13th at the United Way of Greater Houston from 8AM to 3PM. The next phase of ANC’s anticipated service innovation, “ANC Service,” is expected to be rolled out on the Apple Store at that time.
Nuclear Technologists are the heartbeat of Nuclear Medicine, and ANC understands that. ANC Service was designed for Techs with oversight by ANC’s Applications Specialist for the primary purpose of greatly improving the operational experience of a Nuclear Tech with his/her imaging equipment. While service to the Patient is always the ultimate goal, at the same time, service to Medical Practices and Nuclear Techs is equally paramount as downtime and less than premium technical support is unacceptable with today’s technology. For this reason, ANC Service was innovated to close these gaps to ensure precision communication coupled with multi-media tools to correct and resolve issues avoiding traditional losses of up-time!
Download ANC Service, TODAY and give us your feedback on how you think this app could better service someone in your position. ANC is also now taking applications for Staffing Opportunities. Rather if you’re a seasoned Nuclear Tech, recent graduate, or pre-graduate looking to fill in some hours and get extra pay and/or experience, then be sure to go to the “Staffing Opportunities” tab under Service + on ANC Service to submit your resume and get on our roster.
Congratulations to Ms. Anna Tran and Mr. Vishit Patel, who were our grand prize winners at the 64th Annual Meeting. Both are aspiring Nuclear Techs graduating this May, as over 87% of our door prize registrants were Nuclear Techs including students. We look forward to seeing more of our new friends at the Spring Symposium on April 13th in Houston, Texas. If you’ve got ideas and forward thinking you’d like to share with us, please reach out to Ray Hewitt at Advanced Nuclear Consultants at 281-591-7001. We are looking to do some exciting events and other attractions together in Houston follow-through on our great vision to bring the 66th Annual Meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging – Southwestern Chapter to Houston!
See everyone on April 13th in Houston!
